Sparks Chemicals Ltd is a chemical supplier registered and operating in Kenya, at Enterprise Road, Industrial Area, Nairobi, 00500, Kenya. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. Questions about it should go to info@sparkschemicals.com.

We collect personal data only when you choose to send it to us through a form on this site or by contacting us directly:

• Quotation requests — your name, company name, email address, telephone number, country, the products and quantities you are asking about, and anything you write in the message field.
• Contact and technical enquiries — your name, email address, optional telephone number and company, the subject, and your message.

We do not ask for, and this site cannot accept, payment card details or any financial information.

This website runs no analytics, advertising or session-recording scripts, and sets no tracking cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

Three things are stored by your own browser and never sent to us: the contents of your quotation basket, your recent catalogue searches, and whether you prefer the light or dark theme. Clearing your browser storage removes all three. A single session cookie is used for staff sign-in to the administration area; it is not set for ordinary visitors.

We use what you send us to prepare and send your quotation, to answer your enquiry, and to keep a record of what was quoted and supplied. The lawful basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping accurate commercial records.

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept while they may still be relevant to an ongoing conversation and are then deleted. Records relating to an actual supply are kept for as long as tax, customs and product-liability obligations require us to keep them.

Your data is held on infrastructure we control, and is accessible to Sparks staff who need it to answer your enquiry. It is shared outside the company only where a delivery or export requires it — a transporter or a customs agent needs a consignee name and address — or where the law requires disclosure.

Product photography and documents shown on this site are served through a content delivery network. That service handles images, not your enquiry data.

Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to info@sparkschemicals.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
